DISCOVER & RECOVER®
501(c)(3) nonprofit
www.discover-recover.org
Mission
It is the mission of Discover & Recover® to
offer healing arts programs to individuals,
schools, outpatient facilities, and aftercare
patients.
Discover & Recover® is actively developing and
promoting fundraising events to support any
institution that does not have the funding
available to provide these wellness programs. It
is our mission to provide funding for programs
that are needed, and to ensure that no one is
excluded from the benefit of these programs.
Discover & Recover® believes yoga and the
healing arts offer tools and techniques for
healing, happiness, and fulfillment that can be
used by literally anyone to help overcome and to
deal with physical, mental, emotional, and
spiritual obstacles. In recognizing the oneness
of humanity in our need for such tools, we find
the calling to make them available to all
people, particularly those without the economic
means of obtaining them on their own.
Philosophy
It is the intention of Discover & Recover® to
spread healing and humanitarian efforts.
In an effort to come together… as one people,
one world… free of intolerance, hatred, and
violence… and for all to be free of suffering…
we recognize that we are “All One” and thus
could benefit from the same things. No one is
exempt from overcoming personal obstacles &
challenges; many are faced with health issues,
personal trauma, addiction issues, relationship
issues and other special needs.
We advocate raising consciousness in the hearts
and minds of everyone, in an effort to remember
that we are “All One” as per the great Indian
saint, Neem Karoli Baba. |
