In this workshop, Dr. Edwin Bryant translates and gives account of the Yoga Sutras established by Patanjali; the author and unofficial"founder" of yoga. Dr. Bryant's lively, clear and practical presentation is aimed at imparting this wisdom to the modern day practitioner who is inspired to follow a deeper path of yoga. Explore the ancient sutras to bring greater clarity and light to modern day living.

Throughout this workshop, Tamara Page Furman will guide you through multiple yoga classes to compliment and enhance the philosophy studies.

  • Vinyasa Flow - to awaken the hearts and minds for learning
  • Deep Stretches - to absorb the knowledge as you move deeper into yourself
  • Restorative and Pranayama - to embrace time for stillness, quiet and reflection
  • Important: Bring Yoga props and yoga sutras text (any version with Sanskrit & English) Yoga mat, 2 blankets, yoga belt, 2 blocks or bolster
